In short, FAITH is an outreach program that involves training, practice, and actual outreach activities. The training covers how to share personal experiences, how to interact with people, how to perform ministry visits, how to visit the unchurched, how to share the gospel, and how to connect people to our church.
The FAITH program also provides structure and organization for the outreach ministries of Shadowbrook. The FAITH training involves class room time, practice time, time to learn by watching an experienced person, and various class materials. FAITH is a great program that will help you to minister like Christ.
Bobby Welch, the former pastor of the Daytona Beach Baptist Church, the former president of the Florida Baptist Convention and a former SBC vice president, along with Doug Williams, retired minister of evangelism at Daytona Beach, created the FAITH/Sunday School Evangelism Strategy that is widely used in Southern Baptist churches throughout the country.
