Our Preschool Ministry provides a safe and secure environment where little ones grow toward a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus. Our team of loving, nurturing volunteers take precious time weekly to teach your children foundational truths necessary for spiritual understanding as they grow into childhood.
The Volunteer Preschool Ministry Team offers many opportunities each week: AWANA Cubbies, Basic Praise Choirs, Preschool Praise Worship Time, and Bible Study for all ages of preschoolers. We hope that you will become familiar with our ministry opportunities, special events, and annual parties just for preschoolers and their families.
Our Ministry also includes a weekday school for ages fifteen months through Kindergarten. Mrs. Carol Fisher is the Director. She can be reached at 770-945-3549 or via email at cfisher@shadowbrookchurch.org. The school has a community-wide reputation as a leader in academic and religious education.

On behalf of Shadowbrook Preschool Ministries, it is our desire for your family to find the church home where you can serve most effectively.
We have an excellent security system in place so you can feel comfortable in leaving your children in our care. We also provide a private room for nursing mothers.
The GOD MADE ME theme of our Preschool Ministry teaches our little ones that God made all things and is the one in charge of it all. All our classes are named after things God made which help the children learn to be a part of God's creation and kingdom. Our weekly opportunities during the school year are:
SUNDAY
8:30 a.m. .................Nursery all ages
9:30 a.m. .................Bible Study all ages
10:45 a.m. ...............Preschool Praise all ages
5:45 – 7:30 p.m.........Nursery: Birth – 2 year olds
5:45 – 7:30 p.m.........AWANA Puggles (older 2’s & younger 3’s)
5:45 – 7:30 p.m.........AWANA Cubbies 3-5 year olds
The AWANA Cubbies program features scripture memorization and basic Bible truths preschoolers can understand. The program materials assist and encourage parents to actively participate in their child's spiritual development.
WEDNESDAY
5:30 p.m. .................Supper
6:30 p.m...................Basic Praise - 3 year olds
6:30 p.m...................Shine Choir - 4 & 5 year olds
OUR ANNUAL EVENTS:
We offer Parent/Child Dedication Day in the spring. This is a special opportunity for the family!
New Life Celebration at Easter - the Preschoolers enjoy an Easter morning of fun and fellowship with crafts and activities relating to new life in Christ.
Vacation Bible School offers a week long program enjoyed by children who are entering Kindergarten through completed 7th grade to learn more about Jesus and His love for us. Registration required.

dp Summer meets on Wednesdays during the summer at 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Parents assist the children in a fun-filled relaxed atmosphere where learning something special about Christ is the focus. Happy Birthday Jesus Party is a celebration in which the preschoolers get to reenact the birth of Christ in their own play. They sing Happy Birthday to Jesus, too! Angel Tree Ministry is a mission outreach supporting our food pantry. The preschoolers provide gifts for children in need in our community and learn about the true meaning of giving. “P O P” Party – “Promotion Out of Preschool” to the Children’s Ministry is a big event. All children entering Kindergarten will enjoy this special time of reflection and anticipation. Each child will meet their new Kindergarten Sunday School teacher and experience Kid’s Worship for the first time! |
