P.U.R.E. Ministry

Serving Families in Our Community
with Special Needs

Shadowbrook offers monthly respite care for families of children with special needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for primary caregivers to have a much needed break. We offier 3 hours of childcare one Saturday (usually the 2nd) every month.

Each child with special needs and their siblings are paired with a "buddy" for the evening. During the 3 hours, P.U.R.E. kids will have the opportunity to fellowship with their peers. We will play games, do crafts, have praise and worship through music and hear the Word of God.

Dinner and snacks will be served in a Christian environment where parents can feel confident knowing their child is more than just safe. Our goal is to make this an experience that they will eagerly anticipate each month.

Parents need time to re-charge their batteries. They will benefit immensely but their children will benefit even more.
