Learning the Gospel
as we Gather and Grow
Children are gifts from the Lord and at Shadowbrook Church, we love those gifts. We desire to see our kids learn the gospel as they gather together and grow in their faith. One of our top priorities as a church is making sure good, gospel training happens from the crib to the grave. Our Kids Ministry is a safe, fun environment for kids to grow.

The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Through The Gospel Project®, our kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.

The Big Picture of God’s Story
Preschool Praise is for 2 year olds through Pre-K and meets each Sunday @ 10:30 am in room 12 on the Preschool Hall. Preschool Praise is where children learn what worship looks like, what it means and why it is so important. We do lessons based on the book, Everything a Child Should Know About God. Each week they will worship through lesson and craft, as well as have a snack and activity time.
Kid’s Worship is for Kindergarten through 5th graders and meets each Sunday (except Family First Sunday) at 10:30 am in C205 (Tree House). Kids begin all together in a large group for a Bible story, memory verses and worship through music, then divide into small groups by grade for games, crafts and other activities.
One League, two locations! Kindergarten through 3rd grade will be played at Shadowbrook. 4th-6th grade will be played at North Gwinnett Church.
We’re looking for basketball players, cheerleaders, coaches, and referees.
First game is January 11, 2020
Family First Sunday is the first Sunday of every month. On this Sunday, we invite families with kids in Pre-K through 5th grade to worship together in our service. To help our kids stay engaged, we have a Family First table set up by the entrance of the Worship Center with a Kids Bulletin and snacks.
Shadowbrook offers monthly respite care for families of children with special needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for primary caregivers to have a much needed break. We offer 3 hours of childcare one Saturday (usually the 2nd) every month.
Each child with special needs and their siblings are paired with a “buddy” for the evening. During the 3 hours, PURE kids will have the opportunity to fellowship with their peers. We will play games, make crafts, have praise and worship through music and hear the Word of God.
Dinner and snacks will be served in a Christian environment where parents can feel confident knowing their child is more than just safe. Our goal is to make this an experience that they will eagerly anticipate each month.
